Nailberry sat down with the gorgeous Alice Temperley to talk all things Summer & fashion. Lets see what one of fashions most iconic figures is wearing this season.
Nailberry: Your Summer 2017 collection has just launched. It looks amazing. You say its exploring your girls desire for escapism, where is your favourite place to escape?
Alice: One of my favourite destinations is Mexico on the Pacific coast, just a few hours flight from LA. It is here, near a town called Sayulita, where I gained much of my inspiration for our recent summer collection. I love the climate, the people, the music, the coast line and the margaritas.
Nailberry: As a proud London brand, what do you think makes London girls unique in their approach to fashion and colour?
Alice: London girls are unique, they have an ability to mix things up and make everything look laid back and casual whether it be a silk chiffon gown with converse or a sequin jumpsuit with flats. There is a hint of rock and roll… that works.
Nailberry: At Nailberry we love all things colour, and with Spring finally here, what SS colour should we be wearing?
Alice: This summer is all about bold colours, bright sequins and amazing prints. I would recommend Cherry Cherie.
Nailberry: Looking forward now Autumn/Winter 17/18 Fashion Week is finally over, what are they key pieces we need to kick start our Autumn wardrobe?
Alice: Our new Autumn collection celebrates Somerset and The Shire and is called the woodlander. Key pieces from the collection would be the Blueberry tailoring story which includes a jumpsuit and culottes and for the perfect trans-seasonal knitwear the Cypre Pointelle story.
Nailberry: As a fellow Notting Hill local, what is your Notting Hill hidden gem?
Alice: I love looking for treasures and vintage pieces on Golborne road. Especially from Jerome at the Les Couilles Du Chien.
Nailberry: If you could pick one Nailberry colour to wear on your nails forever and ever what would it be?
Alice: I wear a lot of bright reds – they are both understated and glamorous at the same time. My favourite would probably be Strawberry Jam.
